In REDEMPTION we are liberated by the payment of the ransom price of Christ’s blood. In FORGIVENESS our debt is cancelled, the debt having been paid in full in Christ’s redeeming death. In JUSTIFICATION we are declared righteous before God the judge by virtue of Christ’s substitutionary death and gift of righteousness.... In RECONCILIATION we are brought from enmity into fellowship with God. In ADOPTION we, in union with Christ the Son, become God’s children.

"Tut tut, it looks like rain." There's a chance of rain for this Sunday morning, so we wanted to be prepared with a contingency plan for Outdoor Church! In the event of rain, we will not have Outdoor Church, but instead we will simply do our normal Home Church Live livestream at 9am. In the event that we are cancelling Outdoor Church, we will post on social media and send an email early Sunday morning to let you and your families know. ... There might be a 50% chance of rain forecast for Sunday... but there's a 100% chance we'll be worshipping the Lord together, either in person or at home!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Stop scrolling. This morning is good -- God is on the throne. Be encouraged that we are in the hands of a good God who made us, knows us, loves us, and will be surprised by nothing. "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authoritiesall things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together." Colossians 1:16-17 ESV

This is our call today as God's people, His Church: Love God: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." (Deuteronomy 6:5)... Love Others: "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:35) Pray for Our Nation: "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4) Strive for Unity: "I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:1-3)

"Can’t throw stones while washing feet." As we enter into a potentially contentious week, may we enter into prayer and seek to serve all, and in how we react, no matter the outcome, may our faith and Christ-like love make Jesus known in a world that's desperate for hope and peace. "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this o...ne command: Love your neighbor as yourself. If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other." - Galatians 5:13-15 See more

It's true, this year has been difficult, on so many levels. But you know what else is true? God has not changed or withdrawn from His people. So if you're feeling distant from the Lord, remember, He has not moved or changed. Draw close to Him. Trust Him. Watch for what He's doing through this.

We're doing CHURCH AT THE BEACH this weekend! Want to join us?? With a couple hundred people from our church at the beach for camping this weekend , we're hosting our weekend Outdoor Church service on Saturday, October 31, at 10am at Carpenteria State Beach . We are a people who worship. We might worship unworthy things. But we are always worshipping. Worship is simply ascribing worth to things. So what are you worshipping? Scripture reminds us, that God is the only one that is ALWAYS worthy of praise: "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created." Revelation 4:11 ESV
