The Breath Center 27.02.2021

The evolution of conscious awareness within humanity is often overlooked. We are constantly bombarded with distractions, responsibilities, and survival - all things which can create a lack of inspiration. Although popular culture and religions take a linear view of how to engage with this process, there are a vast array historic and global views that originate in a more holistic approach.... This is the foundation of The Anatomy of Awakening Training: The integration of multicultural methods of spiritual awakeningto support the safety and well-being of all who are on their healing journey. Together we will explore the nature of consciousness in fresh new ways to create an embodied understanding of what it means toawakenfrom an emotional, physical, and spiritual perspective. Join us March 1-July 14 for this 20 week virtual training immersion for personal growth, new discovery, and all things breath related. Application link is in our bio. Enrollment closes February 28th, so don’t wait to apply! The Moment that Changes Everything

The Breath Center 03.02.2021

We want to feel... To be enraptured by each moment But how do we find focus in a distracted world? The dissonance inciting mass arrested development... Seeking something far from business as usual... Burdened by lineage, culture, or just lack of inspiration Overly sensitive or maybe just overly stimulated Begging for a break, or at least some patience! While our future selves chuckle (And maybe our past selves too) Because we could spontaneously remember The secret to unlimited energy and resilience within. The body is a battery A living breathing fountain of untapped potential The garden of compassion, kindness, and humility Reciprocating deep heart-based connection For all races, creeds, and beliefs We deserve to be included The world needs it & we are ready Willing the surrender It’s time for a change The only way out is through Real talk - spiritual yes, yet clear concise, and simple Taking the guesswork out of spirituality Connecting the global & universal pieces A spiritual treasure hunt for the soul The Anatomy of Awakening Something sacred this way comes. We are sharing these practices that give us alternate perspectives on healing and deep inner work. If it’s in your field, this is a good thing because it means that the work has already begun. There’s a big difference between identifying with past traumas and knowing that there are still some blocks. This means we are aware of the areas we are focusing on to liberate ourselves from. The Huffington Post: How to Breathe to Promote Healing For thousands of years, ancient cultures emphasized special breathing practices because they were found to have value for a person's health and wellness. Eastern meditation, relaxation and movement practices including yoga, t'ai chi and qigong incorporate breathing as an integral component of the activity. We take over 17,000 breaths a day. In addition to providing us with oxygen, breathing triggers numerous physiological... mechanisms. Most of us have learned to breathe a certain way and we can learn to breathe in alternative ways. Changing the way we breathe can result in physiological changes that benefit us. Deep breathing serves to trigger relaxation, which causes the blood capillaries to expand, allowing more oxygen to travel to locations where healing is needed. It uses our diaphragm efficiently to pull oxygen into all areas of our lungs, which is more beneficial than shallow chest breathing. Deep breathing is more effective in pumping lymph fluid throughout the body, which stimulates self-healing. The lymph fluid contains immune cells which are targeted to fight bacteria and viruses. In addition, deep breathing shifts the production of brain chemicals which promote healing. -Marc B.
