CHAIR // Who else is in awe over Claire's sharp chair form?! We all have a love/hate relationship with this exercise, but we can agree it leaves you feeling like you can conquer anything once you've made it through . This is a fun exercise you'll see in the studio only. To help you get the most out of it, here are some key tips: Always take an overhand grip Keep your back straight and vertical Relax your low back (no arching or rounding) and your booty Align your ankles... under your knees Aim to keep your hips at knee height or within a one inch range. This exercise creates intensity quickly. It helps to elongate your lower quad muscles while also strengthening your shoulders and back. ZINGER // We know it’s been a hot minute since you’ve done this exercise so we thought it would be nice to give you a few technique tips as a refresher: Always take an underhanded grip on the barre to help protect your wrists Angle your elbows down to the floor to keep proper alignment with your shoulders Keep your front knee bent or softly bent the whole time To lessen the intensity, work higher with your torso and closer to the barre and for more challenge work lower ...and farther away. This quick exercise is meant to give you a quick and intense *zing* to all of your muscles, specifically targeting your biceps, lats, upper back, and glutes We can’t wait to teach this exercise to you again in the studio, starting with next week!

We’ve always held high standards to keep you guys healthy and safe at our studio, and we realize the heightened importance now more than ever. That’s why we’d like to share what we’re doing to help keep your health and well-being a top priority: All staff and clients will be required to wear a mask, even while working out. New checkin procedures to include temperature checks and questions confirming you are COVID19 free and have not been exposed in the last 14 days. Socia...l distancing will be enforced throughout the studio; floor markers are setup to help your guidance throughout the hallways and restroom; personal workout spaces will be clearly marked and set up in advance to keep you 6 ft apart; follow the exit signs to prevent congestion. We will refrain from our signature hands on adjustments and rely on verbal instructions to keep you in strong form. All props, mats, and straps will be sanitized after each class. All high-touch surface areas and common areas will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. We’ve enhanced the air quality by using MERV13 filters in our HVAC as well as placed premium air purifiers with HEPA filtration systems throughout the studio. Our locker room and beauty bar will not be available at this time. Please come dressed to work out. All personal workout stations will have a plastic bin for you to store your personal belongings. This takes teamwork to keep us open so let’s all do our part! Please be mindful of our policies, social distancing and if you feel unwell, please stay home and join us when you are better.

This will be required for all classes and we will not have towel service at this time. You may purchase an antimicrobial Bar Method towel with the desk if you forgot yours. Sign-up in advance and arrive 5-15 minutes early. We will be taking everyone’s temperature upon arrival and have a few short affirmation questions you will answer each time. In order to properly check you, late admittance will not be allowed and the studio doors will be locked at the start of class. Sanitize upon entering the studio. Personal workout spaces that are socially distant compliant have been set up. You will stay in your spot for the entirety of class. If you need something extra, simply ask your instructor. Respect social distancing and stay 6 feet apart at all times. Come dressed ready to workout! Our locker rooms will be closed (though you will have access to the restrooms). Each workout station has been set up with a plastic bin for you to store your belongings.
