Happy New Year everyone! What a present it will be when we get back to doing what we all love. . . dancing! Hold on just a little while longer. It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Ted Colbert passed away this morning after a long illness. He taught for The Ballroom for years and was a sought after leader on the dance floor by many of the women. He will be greatly missed by all the dancers and his friends, on and off the dance floor. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Just a little post to make you smile. Many of you know Mateo, Johnny Ochoa's son. He has been hanging around the Ballroom since he was born almost. Well just to make all of you feel old (since that's what it made me feel like!) Mateo just got his Drivers License! Now we all have our very own Uber driver! :-) Congratulations Mateo!

Aloha! This weekend would have been our Annual Luau dances. So, we are not letting you go without all the fun we always have. I just want to take a moment and thank all of you that still donate to The Ballroom's Go Fund Me, during this stressful time. We will reopen as soon as it is safe for our dancers and staff. That is our #1 priority, your safety. Hopefully we will be able to resume classes in the next month or two but until then there are lots of fun and informative videos on our website for you to enjoy. Thank you to the instructors that have given so freely of their talents during this time.... I am planning a big surprise in October for everyone. Hopefully we will be able to pull this off and we can all see each other again.
