2020-11-18 Week 13 Senate Meeting
From the Open Computing Facility: https://fb.me/e/1IKDPlkA5 This Tuesday starting at 4pm PST on Zoom (https://fb.zoom.us/j/94203063431), two production engineers and OCF Alumni working at Facebook, Abizer Lokhandwala and Tony Situ, will be speaking about production engineering! Join if you'd to learn about to learn more about some of the engineering behind Facebook or have any related questions for the speakers. There will also be a resume drop towards the end of the event. Make sure to bring your friends along with you as well!
On Saturday, 11/14 at 2p, the OCF will be hosting a workshop on zoom (https://ocf.io/zoom) where alumni will have a chance to look over your resume! They will be providing pointers on how to improve your resume, by using some of the submitted resumes as examples, so you can all follow along. Submit your resume to this link (https://ocf.io/s/submitresume) if you’re interested in getting it reviewed! If you’d like, you can also white out any personal information on your resume to remain anonymous. Even if you don’t have a resume, you should still come! The College of Letters and Science has decided to adopt a P/NP policy for all major/minor requirements for both this semester (FA20) and next semester (SP21). A huge shoutout to @asucaavp for their hard work in advocating for the student body and getting these policies implemented!
