Thank you for being part of your community heart and art space! A special thank you to our sustaining members and financial supporters. Because we are closed, we need and value your gifts like never before. We know everyone can’t give right now. For those who are able, we send you our undying gratitude! What you do makes a huge difference. We are feeling good about our embodied future as we discover When, How and What will that look liketogether.... In the meantime, lots of holiday love. From All of Us, at The 418 Project
Community Member Jill Hardy tells us why she gives "The 418 is an important community foundation in my life. Practices like ecstatic dance and contact improv provide a vital opportunity to get out of my head and into my body and my creativity, and to meet like-minded people who want to create an environment where we can be ourselves. It’s beautiful to me. The 418 feels like a safe home base, and I want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy that feeling for years to com...ethat’s why I give." Join Jill by becoming a giver today, and don't forget your gift will be doubled! the418project.org/support
Meet Mark Metz, your new Dance Church DJ! Mark Metz has been collecting dance vinyl and DJ'ing since the early '90s. Listen to show archives on SoundCloud.com/MarkMetzLive and learn more about analog awareness and his upcoming book launch ...at www.VinylEDU.com Mark will be spinning this Sunday, December 27, our last Dance Church of 2020!
From December 23 - 28, start giving $10/month and receive TWO invitations to our Re-Opening party! Details to come. Your monthly subscription helps us greatly! We appreciate you
Public Service Announcement! For the remainder of 2020, every dollar you donate to a nonprofit can be deducted, dollar for dollar, directly off your income. This is a result of the 2020 CARES act. **Even if you don't use deductions, each person can deduct up to $300 or $600 for joint filers; if you use deductions, this applies up to 100% of your adjusted gross income.** ... If you can donate, this is the time to do it. Remember: the Renaissance happened after the Plague. Let's make the Renaissance...together. the418project.org/support
