We had a simple vision for The 18hundred: fresh tasty food, distinctive cocktails, fun milkshakes, and GOOD VIBES! In a city of nearly 400,000 discerning residents it is not always easy to stand out, however we believe our efforts to stay true to who we are have resonated with you all. It is our great honor to have been selected as the best new restaurant to open in 2019.... The talent, creativity, and generosity we’ve encountered here in Bakersfield has been incomparable. Today one of our most talented stars @tqwdesigns gifted us with this beautiful birthday present. Her fresh flower arrangements graced our restaurant every week and together with the very talented @nanetteartanddesign, she has bestowed upon us the best birthday gift a restaurant could ever imagine.... On this day one year ago we opened our doors to the city of Bakersfield and thankfully the city welcomed us with opened arms. For those of you that dined with us in the beginning, we were packed to max capacity and the heat was on! (Literally) We’ve taken the last few months to reflect on the lessons learned and friendships made over this past year. With a renewed vigor we look forward to opening our dining room again soon with a new perspective of who we are as a family, a ...business, and to our community. We are doing are best to hang in there. We are using heightened health safety and sanitation measures, limiting number of dine in customers, distancing tables 6 feet apart. We encourage folks to stay home and stay healthy.... Stress levels are high, we are not here to judge. If you want to eat, we are here for you. We are open for business. In adherence to the government mandate to reduce capacity, we’ve removed tables and spaced out floor plan so customers who want to dine in can do so in comfort and safety. Our full menu is available for take out, our menu can be viewed on our website (link in bio), and staff can advise you of specials items.... You can call in your order to (661)493-0442, we can even bring your order out to you curb side, just give is a call when you arrive. We will do our best to communicate and will stay up to date with local health and safety directions.
