The Guadalupe Community Changers, in collaboration with the SB Community Environmental Council and the RCDCC, picked up over 15 bags of trash this past weekend. Thank you to all who came out to help. Stay posted for more Community Clean-up dates in the near future!

Thanks to everyone who has completed their 2020 CENSUS! The US CENSUS Bureau will continue collecting data through October 5th. We will continue assisting individuals with their intakes until then. Thank you to all who participated in our CENSUS Awareness Bike Parade! We had a wonderful time spreading awareness to our community in Guadalupe this weekend! One more day until we parade through the streets of Guadalupe to help individuals complete their CENSUS. We ask that you please be patient with us as we will be following CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe. Please don't forget to wear your mask. REMINDER: Don’t forget to look for us in your neighborhood between 12pm and 4pm to complete your CENSUS 2020 with us. For those wishing to complete their intake please be ready with the following: 1) Address. 2) Names of EVERYONE who live in the household. 3) Date of births for EVERYONE who live in the household. THIS INCLUDES those who are not your family that live at the address and people who rent a room in the address. Raffle winners will be announced on September 30th! Keep an eye out for our CENSUS Awareness Bike Parade on September 12th between 11am-4pm. Anyone who completes their CENSUS at one of our stops will be entered in our raffle for a chance to win a Target gift card or bike! All Guadalupe residents are encouraged to apply for this one time opportunity to improve civic participation in exchange for an $1800 grant for education expenses. The Guadalupe Community Changers are seeking two Guadalupe residents to join the civic engagement team between September - December. We are looking for two motivated individuals to help coordinate events that will help increase voter turnout and CENSUS 2020 participation. In turn you will gain on the ground community organizing experience, learn about key topics that relate to our democracy, and most importantly, play an integral role in ensuring that Guadalupe is represented.... Additionally, we will be providing each intern a grant for $1800 to help fund your education! Applications are due August 31st 2020 at the Little House by the Park.
