Owning a business is one of the hardest jobs mentally and physically.... my customers are what keeps me going they are the best part of my day joking laughing and visiting with them and everyone knows I’m loud I cuss like a sailor I think Im hilarious and I look forward to each and everyday .... but this last year has been very hard on me and I just got to the point where I didn’t want to be there I hired too many of the wrong people that have stole from the shop ones that... wouldn’t take care of customers time after time after time .... it’s been a battle that I couldn’t seem to win so I gave up ... I felt defeated I felt I failed I felt lost and alone ... when did it become acceptable to not do your best to not even fake doing your best what happen to self pride what happen to respecting your boss and coworkers Without going on and on I would like to publicly apologize to any and all of my customers after I finally spent countless hours watching a month of camera footage I can’t deny that the customer service has been some of the worst service I’ve ever seen I’m ashamed and embarrassed... Tony Robbins said it best it’s not the people you hire that ruin your business it’s the people you don’t fire I’ve learned some very hard lessons I’m hoping The Shop Cafe can rise about this and our customers will give us the opportunity to provide them with the best service we can ... I will personal be there everyday to get this train back on its track and I hope we see you very soon I want to thank Cindy L for all she does she has been riding this crazy train with me doing all she can to keep it going I’ve learned so much in the past months and I can’t thank her enough
