I know I'm not active as kremlin mccarthys thee next steps but I've been working I promise. Patience is a virtue. Don't get distracted from the message, our black community has been mistreated for too long. HOW LONG IS 9 MINUTES!

This is what a real mayor does Karen. They support everyone in their city not just the wealthy ones. Bakersfield has a serious leadership problem.

Help the Save Our Stages Act and the RESTART Act get across the finish line at SaveOurStages.com It has been 136 days since the last event took place at The H...istoric Bakersfield Fox Theater. If you were to come by the theater right now you would find locked doors, a dark lobby, and posters of our cancelled and postponed shows still hanging in our display case. But one thing the public won’t see is the ghost light shining brightly on our stage. For those of you unfamiliar with legends and traditions of the stage, ghost lights can be found lit at night in empty theaters to keep the spirits of past performers company (or in some cases to keep them away!). If you don’t believe in ghosts, a more practical reason to keep a light on is to prevent those working backstage from falling into the pit. Our theater, like hundreds nationwide, has had to dim its lights, and it is uncertain when they will be able to fully shine again, but new legislation could help us. Congress is back in session and now is the time to contact your legislators and representatives to ask them to support the RESTART Act and the newly created Save Our Stages Act. Led by Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), the new bipartisan Save Our Stages (SOS) Act calls for a $10 billion grant program for live venue operators, promoters, producers and talent representatives. This legislation will be considered along with RESTART Act which can help various industries. You spoke, they listened, and now we need your help to speak louder than ever! We’re a part of NIVA - National Independent Venue Association, which was formed to try to save independent venues and promoters across the country. Without support from Congress, 90% of NIVA’s independent venues, festivals & promoters across America say they will be forced to close their doors forever. Congress will be voting THIS MONTH, so we need your help NOW. Go to www.SaveOurStages.com and submit the updated form to voice your support for the RESTART and SOS Acts. The form for the letter is already filled in, you just have to add your name. It takes less than 30 seconds. We were the first to close, and will be the last to fully reopen. We will keep our ghost lights lit as a reminder that even during a pandemic, we are still holding onto hope for the arts to return and entertain audiences once again. We appreciate the help from our community and hope this final push will get venues like ours the funding we need. #SaveOurStagesAct #RESTARTAct Thank you Nicole Bolinger - Marketing & Photography for taking these photos!

Apparently another group has taken an off brand grammatically incorrect version of this group to minimize my efforts to put pressure on bpd and the sheriff's department.
