In honor of our beloved Miles Sauvageau, we commissioned this piece to be permanently installed at the West house. Miles has been managing this location for the last five years and his impact is undeniable. Thank you for all that you’ve done and all that you continue to do. #hardwork #changinglives #family #comingsoon #

It’s Pete E’s 2 years today. Way to go!!! #lhsoberbday The house saved my life when I was trying my hardest to end it. Life now has meaning to me. I live with a purpose, to give back what was so freely given to me. I will always be grateful for all of the experiences I learned from here.

Jonathan L. #thelhgraduate So much to be grateful for today. My experience during my time at The Last House has been filled with success and struggleboth of which allowed me to practice the tools I would need outside of the house and in my new sober life today. I have been awarded many new opportunities since being here, and I’ve met some great friends along the way. I don’t believe my work is done, and I know I will continue to grow and learn with the continued support of those who’ve helped me along the way, especially those in this program. I am so grateful for this past year.

Cory M. #thelhgraduate I came to the last house desperate to change my life. I was so scared of the program but I knew I had to do something drastic. I realized that stopping drugs and alcohol was only the tip of the iceberg. I had a life long sense of ideas, beliefs, and behaviors that were keeping me sick and in addiction. I was finally given the chance to work on these behaviors in my year at the house which changed me into a new man. The last house pushed me out of my comfort zone and that was exactly what I needed to change. I am forever grateful to the house and the amazing staff and community it provides.

Dante M. - #thelhgraduate Way to go Dante!! Congrats on graduating #thelasthouse I had a lot of trouble with accepting my circumstances and not having an egocentric lifestyle. What made me believe that there was something more to this thing was the gang of brothers I came to trust. I can work with others and be myself instead of hiding behind walls and suppressing my fear and weakness. The clear head is a clear conscience. Maybe I don’t get whatever I want but if I put my mind to it I can accomplish just about anything these days. I’m greater than I ever was.

Harrison S. is one of four of our guys graduating tonight!!! We have never had a quad grad night. # Let’s give him some props. The last 18 months of my life have been a totally new experience for me.Being at The Last House taught me skills that I had never developed, even before I started using drugs.I never thought I would get to be happy most of the time, to walk through losses and fears, and to show up when I say I will. But the foundation and support I got at the house, and the program I have in AA have made my life pretty easy to deal with, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. #thelhgraduate
