We are in Sacramento today meeting with our legislative representatives to encourage them to change the laws to better protect victims of sexual harassment by preventing employers from requiring workers to waive their rights as a condition of employment.

We are hiring temp 5-7 year attorney to help with trial prep in February and March. Experience matters. We just finished a 21 day trial. We can’t imagine trying a case in a courtroom where the judge had no experience doing the same. Not even 1 trial, not 1 deposition taken, nor 1 motion ever written or argued in court. Very bad for our justice system to prefer politics over practice. Remember, litigants are non partisan. They want experienced judges deciding matters impacting their lives. We hope this is not a trend.
