Thursday night it’s a repeat formula in my Sonoramics experiment. Incendiary guitarist Byron Bordeaux has been a staple of the OC music scene for decades- from ...working with his imposing Soul-singer brother in Derek and The Diamonds to his own exquisitely faithful Hendrix tribute, MIRROR IMIJ. Byron has also added his unique talents to those of several well-known recording artists such as Buddy Miles, Bobby Womack and recently-passed James Ingram, who was an Akronite like me. We did this once before a few weeks ago and I’m stoked to see what happens this time. Josh Schreiber will be on drums when the reaction occurs. Is it art? Is it music? Is it science?
