The Beach House in Seal Beach

What has been a difficult year for us all has pushed us to be a bit more creative with how we celebrate the holidays. A huge thank you to the community of Seal Beach for joining in on our 1st Annual yard decorating contest. For the record, the judges had a difficult time picking the winners (so glad I did not have to). Happy to share that over 400 votes came in for peoples choice. So when Riley and I stopped into Villa Blanca for lunch, we ran into our friend Lisa Vanderpump. I shared that I am opening a restaurant on the sand in Seal Beach. She said, "lovely darling, I shall visit". Sooo...If we had a show like Vanderpump Rules. What would you call it?

Another weekend for the history books. The Kansas City Chiefs celebrate a victory as do the winners of the 7th Annueal Seal Beach Devour Chili Cook Off. It was a Cook Off before the Kick Off on Saturday and boy did we produce winners. Main St. was filled with tasters visiting 18 particiapting restaurants and businesses throwing in their scratch recipes for a chance at the title. A very big thank you to all who came out to support. We are a great community who consistently com...es together making our town the unique Mayberry that it is. For the record books while the competion was fierce there was one GRAND JUDGES winner. Clancy’s oh yes, with Catrinas Cafe a close second and then The Hangout right behind. Let’s not forget PEOPLES CHOICE, newcomer Bogarts Coffee brought in the most votes with Clancey’s trailing along with Beachwood BBQ. Presentation is a category and three restaurants brought in the highest matching scores together being Hawiian Grill, Clany’s and Irisher. A huge thank you to our judges, Seal Beaches finest who carefully focused on each participant with a blind tasting. Our home base where we announced the winners was Hennessey‘s, thank you for the microphone and service. It was a huge sucess, thank you Seal Beach. Until next year...Dropping the mic! See more

THE BEACH HOUSE UPDATE We are excited to share that THE BEACH HOUSE and the city manager have come to an agreement. While the lease is almost 2 years old it was necessary to amend it.
