We need people to act on the #SaveRestaurants effort before the end of the week. Repost what Virginia Miler said in this article "And if you want to further help support local restaurants and bars, please call and write your political representatives. A number of Bay Area and California state politicians have yet to sign on to the Restaurant Stabilization Act, which has bipartisan support nationally. Speak up and urge our political leaders to pass the act soon and before August 7, when Congress leaves on recess for the rest of the month, at SaveRestaurants.com. (You’ll also find shareable resources on just how crucial the independent restaurant and bars industry is to the U.S. economy.)" https://thebolditalic.com/as-restaurants-struggle-bay-area-
Well this Master Baker (pardon the pun) has done it again ! Amazing stuff. If you have a special occasion coming up, She can make it (bake it) extra special with one of her creations.
Our very own Michelle Meyer is at it again ! These may become The Bar's new desert !
Two conflicting laws between the ABC and SF Attorney. Wanna know why we can't open? Read this: I'm a BIG Girl, but because of my stomach, I generally eat like a "Super Model", appetizers are my go -to order.
SUPER IMPORTANT - Apparently the Supervisors are now balking on supporting the variance. That means no bars/restaurants opening timeline and NO SHARED SPACES as the City Attorney said that without a variance, Shared Spaces, isn't legal. Sooooo....... Can you all call, text or email your Supervisor and ask them nicely to support the variance tomorrow? We're getting closer! New guide lines: Guidance for Safer Social Interactions: The first step when considering a social interaction during the COVID-19 pandemic is to assess your risk and the risk of your loved ones. If you or someone in your household is over the age of 60 or living with a chronic health condition such as diabetes or lung disease, the risk of an interaction increases.... If you choose to interact with people outside your household, you can make it safer by: Doing the activity outdoors. Staying 6 feet apart and wearing a face covering. Avoiding the use of shared objects like utensils and toys. Limiting the number of households and people involved. Staying home if you are feeling unwell especially if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms like fever, cough, or fatigue. For more detailed guidance for limited social interactions, go to SF.gov/safersocializing.
