The Thacher School

For many, the financial market seems like a foreign entity. The mission of one Thacher student is to provide an educational, fun resource to youth who want to learn how to invest.

This month we are spotlighting Black Heroes at Home, people in our midst who are making history or just making a difference. In response to our call for suggestions, Tevarion ’24 named Mr. Yates. Tevarion wrote, Mr.Yates is my hero because without his constant advocacy for me, I would not be at Thacher right now. And I am truly blessed to have such a mentor in my life. Mr. Yates is the senior associate director of admission, the co-director of multicultural outreach, coaches girls' soccer, and is one of the faculty advisors to the Black Student Union. #BlackHistoryMonth

Only a couple more days until we’ll have our Toads back in the picture. We can’t wait.
