20 Ways To Drink More Water - As we all know, drinking water is important for us. It increases your life span and improves your quality of life. Not only does your body function better but so does your mind. Sometime's it is hard to drink water, especially for people that haven't habitualized it (yet....) Below are 20 tips to increase your water intake.... 1. Add fruit or veggies to your pitcher/glass. 2. Drink a glass after every bathroom break. 3. Measure your progress (hair bands on water bottle representing cups, in your notes on your phone, etc) 4. Drink a tall glass right when you wake up. 5. Keep a water bottle in your hand. 6. Invest in a filter. 7. Choose sparkling or mineral water over soda. 8. Sip on a glass before every meal. 9. Add water to your smoothie instead of almond milk. 10. Use an app to track your cups. 11. Add ice, in the heat we naturally crave cold. 12. Drink Iced Tea (unsweetened) 13. Eat a copious amount of fruit's and veggies (both contain water in them) 14. After you finish your workout drink 1-2 glasses on the drive home. 15. Drink 1 glass with each meal. 16. Set reminders on your phone to drink water. 17. Drink water when dining out. 18. Challenge a friend to a "water challenge". 19. Get a nice bottle. 20. Set a goal, having an end in sight can make you more determined to drink it.

When training, you don’t always need to increase intensity by going heavier. . Try combining movements to increase intensity and to improve your proprioception ...(body awareness). . Today I combined a Romanian Deadlift with a Reverse Lunge. . Kept the movement slow, and I focused on the appropriate muscles working. . Strength training is much like anything else good for you, it’s only so great until it isn’t... meaning don’t overdo it.... . focus always on improving, not just moving and enjoy the process. The Ultimate Holiday Survival Guide: how to stay healthy through the holidays . While coaching class this morning it was brought to awareness that it is the officially holiday season . Then came some tips and tricks to stay afloat dispersed between my students.... . Then my mind began to roll, thinking if only there was a way to get them to understand the truth... so I’ve been pondering this idea all morning, and here’s what I’ve come up with. . The hardest part of my job is convincing people to not live in excess. . The world, in which I am a part of always craves more. . Yet the simple fact is there is such a thing as too much of a good thing, and it will wreak havoc on your body, mind and soul if you exceed that limit. . It’s not that eating a pastry or having a cocktail is bad, it’s the excessive indulgences. . The biggest key to understanding moderation, is to understand that moderation is ok. . Furthermore it is necessary. . The holiday season doesn’t scare me, because I will enjoy my treats. . The problem in life is that most people react to their indulgence with a negative response. . This usually makes them indulge more or beat themselves up for eating. . Neither response will send you to the winner circle. . Instead I urge you to savor that moment and then immediately do the next best thing and keep em going. . You don’t need to fear life, you just need to understand moderation. . Then practice it, not because you have to....but because it’s necessary, and you crave more from yourself. , I know your tired of being sick and tired, I know you’re tired of the cyclical battle you call working out and dieting. , It’s time to get your life on order. .. This doesn’t mean you never have a day where you enjoy a little too much. . It just means that primarily you choose to not over indulge. .
