Over 50 miles of hose lay were used in the North Complex fire suppression efforts. Fire crews retrieve these hoses from the fire’s interior and haul them back t...o camp where they are sorted and rolled by the California Conservation Corp crew. The hoses will be delivered to the fire cache where they are cleaned, inspected and sent out to new fire incidents. See more

Hello 2019-20 LPSC Members I hope this post finds you and your family safe and healthy. Be on the lookout for some LPSC mail coming your way soon. Ballots went out in the mail Friday and need to be returned by October 5th. Single memberships will return one ballot and family memberships will return two ballots. In order for your vote(s) to "count", you will need to complete the ballot(s), sign, and return them in the self addressed stamped envelope. Two Board positions are... currently available....Vice President and Treasurer. You may choose to vote for the member identified on the ballot, or write in your own nomination. The announcement of the 2020-21 Board will be made by Friday, October 9th. Also included is a 2020-21 Membership Application. You may use the self-addressed stamped envelope to return your membership and payment as well. If you are unsure if you have already renewed, please let me know and I will be happy to look it up for you. If you were not a member in 2019-20 and are interested in joining, you have a couple options...Email [email protected] and I can email you a membership application or visit www.Laporte snowmobileclub.com and complete the membership application online. You can pay via PayPal or mail in your payment. We are looking forward to the upcoming year and are hopeful the fires will come to an end and the snow to begin!
