The DCYF Family is excited to share that we have started a new "Spotlight" series on Medium that will feature the work of the Community Hub Initiative! The series starts today, and a new edition will be issued every other Friday. Our first Spotlight features the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco Tenderloin Clubhouse, and was written by Clubhouse Director Michael Vuong. "It may sound cliché, but it’s 100% true, I smile everyday knowing that our staff and families show up dur...ing the toughest time any of us have ever experienced. That gives me hope and it inspires me to always do my part to serve. Distance learning is HARD, but the kids show up every day. Think about how tired you might be from all your Zoom meetings. Now imagine how tiring and hard it might be for kids! I'm blown away at how hard our kids are trying as we ask the near impossible of them. These kids are absolutely amazing.
