Tenacity Training Center, East County’s newest indoor/outdoor baseball training center, will be hosting our grand opening (GO) baseball camp starting on Tuesday, June 9th. We have carefully reviewed camp requirements posted by Contra Costa Health Services and have determined Tenacity Training Center’s Grand Opening (TTC GO) Baseball Camp exceeds all required safety measures. Saw this today and I’m sure it has been circulating. It’s a good reminder for all of us. When we open up.....you do you, I'll do me. None of us have the same circumstances (medically high risk family member/ a business about to go under). Let's all stay in our own lanes and keep the judgment down as we begin to reopen. No one should feel pressured either way. Just a thought... As we try to figure out how to ease back in to a new normal, please remember:... Some people are still planning to stay home.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening....that’s okay. Be kind. Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes....that’s okay. Be kind. Some are thankful they can finally have a surgery they have put off....that’s okay. Be kind. Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job....that’s okay. Be kind. Some will wear masks for weeks.... months....that’s okay. Be kind. Some people will rush out to get their hair or nails done.... that’s okay. Be kind. The point is, everyone has different viewpoints/feelings and that’s okay. Be kind. We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home. But be kind . If you need to go out, just respect others when in public and be kind! Don’t judge fellow humans because you’re not in their story. We all are in different mental states than we were months ago. So remember, be kind.

I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to trading in my gardening tools for a fungo and some baseball. Like most small businesses, TTC has been severely affected by the pandemic. We are now selling Caps, hoodies, and several types of shirts online to bring in much needed revenue. Your merchandise can be picked up from the front desk by scheduling a pick up time. No contact is available. I can also ship nationwide for an additional shipping fee ($4.99). Caps are $25 ...(sizes: Youth, S/M, L/XL). Personalized text can be added for $2. I hope this message finds everybody in good spirits and health. When I served in the Army, our training and preparation was not focused on this form of threat. The devastation COVID-19 continues to bring was only available through sci-fi books and movies. Our enemy always resided outside of our boarders. Now, no matter your education and knowledge level, we are all in uncharted waters. My vision for Tenacity Training Center has always been to respect and treat each other as f...amily. Family does not always get along, does not always say the right thing or what you want to hear, but family always makes themselves available to support one another during times of need. We many not all work together, attend the same schools, play on the same teams or organizations, but we are all in the same community. I will also put together a page with a list of those available for help. The world has slowed down. We are all on the same pace. It is a great time to work together. Tenacity Family, Tenacity Training Center takes the Coronavirus pandemic very seriously and we will continue monitoring the situation closely, as well as doing everything possible to keep our children and families safe. Tenacity Training Center is the largest baseball and softball training facility in the area. We offer space for indoor and outdoor training. Hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly rental packages are available. We are also looking for committed players to fill roster positions at all age levels. We are looking for ages 7, 8, 9,and 10 to begin our long term player progress program (3-P model) utilizing data captured from HitTrax, and Blast Motion. The older age groups will include Rapsodo.
