DUPE DAY- Okay babes, lets talk Makeup primer. When it works it’s a game-changer, and when it doesn’t, it’s a life ruiner. Dramatic much, I know but when it comes to messing with my expertly applied makeup, I will accept no cosmetic sabotage. I recently went to the @themasterclass and got a TO.DIE.FOR gift bag of expensive goodies. In there was Tatcha silk canvas primer. I tried it and I’m now literally obsessed with it’s velvety goodness but it’s also expensive AF ($68) so... I went on the hunt for something comparable and again e.l.f. Cosmetics came through for the win with their poorless putty primer ($8) Both primers did the job they were meant to do. Honestly, they’re both very impressive products. The big difference you ask? The price, duh. I wouldn’t call elf’s poorless putty an exact dupe based on the fact that Tatcha has amazing skin care benefits in their luxury skin care line of products, I mean there’s actual silk in there! but if you’re in the market for a good cheap primer e.l.f. Cosmetics Poorless putty primer is great! It’s at our fav one stop shop Target and it won’t break your bank. See more
