Team Squaw Skicross/Boardercross

As the final days of USASA Freeskiing National Championships in Copper Mountain came to an end, our TeamSquaw Boys Youth Division dominated the Skiercross course putting down some incredible results. Taking the Gold and Silver in (10-11 Age Class), the top spot went to Tanner Murphy and 2nd place went to Tripp Boyer. Daniel Joslian making it into the Semi Finals finishing in 5th place while Aiden England finished in 16th place. In the competitive (12-13 Age Class), TeamSquaws athletes sailed through qualifiers with Josh Birchall finishing in 20th place and Stephen Lipe in 26th place. Sunny Spring days continued in Copper Mountain, the third day of USASA Freeskiing National Championships, where TeamSquaw Ladies Youth Division raced down the Skiercross course on the hunt for top finishes. Making it into the Finals was Lila Edmondson (8-9 Age Class) narrowly missing out on the podium finishing in 4th place. Representing (10-11 Age Class) Georgia Birchall made it into the Semi-Finals, finishing with an 8th place finish, and Julia Edmondson finishing in 11t...h place. In (12-13 Age Class) Katherine Lipe raced into the Semi-Finals finishing in 7th, while Frances Grananz finished in 11th place. Wrapping up our Youth Division Ladies was Georgia Edmondson (14-15 Age Class) racing strong into the Semi-Finals with an 8th place finish. The USASA Snowboard Nationals wrapped up on April 6th in Copper Mountain, several of our TeamSquaw young ladies had excellent results in Snowboardercross event, making it into the semi-final brackets. Mia Chawner finishing in 7th (12-13 age class) and Hannah Gong finishing in 6th (14-15 age class) Way to go Ladies, Go TeamSquaw!
