Just an update: Nationally... Prices this week ticked down just a fraction to $353,300. September 2020 prices look to follow a normal pattern - basically flat week over week - then pull back for the fourth quarter. We’re 8.7% higher than last year at this time, and that 8% gain is likely to to hold for the rest of 2020. This week we also did some forecasting for early 2021. Based on recent trends, we should expect to start 2021 with fewer than 400,000 homes on the market - about half of where we were at the start of this year. WOW.

Homeowners, PLEASE read this! It happened to another one of my clients! Two months ago their mortgage servicer called them to offer a forbearance, (i.e. no ...payments for a couple months), and the servicer would not report them late. My client, thinking that their credit would not be affected, approved the forbearance. What the services didn't tell them is that the words "IN FORBEARANCE" shows up in the credit profile and is just as bad as ruined credit scores!!! This destroyed their ability to refinance into these amazing rates! People, please, don't accept any of these forbearance offers until you speak with me!!!
