Hello all! Team 846, The Funky Monkeys, are proud to announce the completion of our Safety Animation for the FIRST Robotics Competition 2019 season- Destination: Deep Space! To create this, veterans of our team led an animation workshop to teach rookies and after working together on it for a month, it has all come together. Completely student-designed, composed, sung, and animated, we used professional tools such as Autodesk Maya, After Effects, and Audacity to produce our fi...nal result. Our very own Anna Shaposhnik helped design this awesome flier for CalGames. Can't wait to see you all at the competition this weekend!

Our team had a successful weekend at the Utah regional, finishing as semifinalists with teams 2403 and 4585. We also won the Innovation in Control Award, sponsored by Rockwell Automation. Huge congratulations to our head mentor, Mr. G, for winning the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award and to our VP of Software, Shadaj Laddad, on becoming a Dean’s List Finalist. We’re looking forward to continuing this momentum at the Silicon Valley Regional in three weeks.
