Don't you just hate it when a goose in a gold chain steals your favorite JanSport bag and makes you run across the world to get it back? We had so much fun partnering with #JanSport to put together this and a few other animated videos showing just how durable their backpacks are.

Happy Earth Day! In a time where it's more important than ever to be helpful, we were proud to partner with JanSport to share how they are doing their part. Just this season JanSport has used the equivalent of 13 million bottles worth of recycled plastic by using recycled polyester in eight of their top-selling backpacks. A lot is changing these days, like alcohol sales which continue to rise. (And yes, we may be contributing that number.) One thing that hasn't changed is our love for Lagunitas Brewing Co and how fond our memories are of partnering with them to create this social content. Cheers!

We love our partners! Thank you DCL Logistics for hooking us up with some yummy Magic Spoon Cereal. We don't know if it's the box design or the cereal itself, but working from home just got a little bit sweeter.

During this unprecedented time, we have all found inspiration in our healthcare workers, grocery store employees, scientists and leaders. We were lucky enough to find some in our JanSport client when they generously donated 12,550 backpacks to World Central Kitchen. We were moved by the gesture and over the last couple weeks, partnered with them to develop a video to tell this story. We all have to make sacrifices to get through this and JanSport understood the value in acknowledging this fact especially for their customers, who are missing out on big life events like prom and graduation. Unity, understanding and human persistence felt like the perfect message. We at Teak are deeply thankful and inspired by everyone’s spirit in making the best of whatever comes our way. #ChefsForAmerica #socialdistancing

In honor of #WorldHealthDay, we want to give a huge shoutout to one of Teak's own Sarah Wolfs who is a nurse, a mother and the wife of Teak’s Finance Director, Jeremy. They both are balancing work and raising twin nearly-four-year-olds. We're thinking of you, Sarah. Thank you. And thank you to all of you working on the frontlines fighting this pandemic, be you health care workers, food supply workers, janitorial workers, etc. We're grateful and we stay home for you.

Help us bring the bands back together! Last week we started working on the UN/WHO Global Call Out to Creatives brief. The brief asks to translate critical public health messages into work that engages and informs people across the world. They specifically ask to focus on six key messages. The one that resonated most with us was the idea of Kindness Contagion- that in a crisis like this the worst can come out in people, so we need to promote cooperation and love. All of us... happen to love music (and play music) so we had an idea that really demonstrates cooperation in a big way. We also happen to use Google Meet, and this idea needs someone like Google to figure how to make it work. We're going to submit this to the UN but since it includes Google too, we thought we'd try to get their attention here. It would be pretty awesome if they could make this happen.
