To All - Please pray for Brother Fernando & Sister Isabella Chavez's son, baby Alexander. A member of the home where Alexander was being babysat tested positive for COVID-19. A few days ago, Alexander was running a fever and showing signs of sickness. At this time he is doing well but they have decided to take him in tomorrow for testing knowing he was in close contact with someone who tested positive. Please pray for them that they may have peace during this trial and Alexander's test may come back negative. We thank God that we know He has Alexander in the palm of His hand. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you.

EMPTY! ABANDONED! LEFT ALONE! The tomb was the only thing truly forsaken this day and death was left empty handed, abandoned, left alone! Christ Arose! HOSANNA! HOSANNA! HALLELUJAH! Today we celebrate the miraculous victory of Jesus Christ, our High Priest, the Son of God’s triumphant conquering of death and resurrection to life. ... He is not here: for he is risen, as he said... Matthew 28:6 Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here... Mark 16:6 He is not here, but is risen... Luke 24:6 So where was He?! And thus God breaketh the bands of death, having gained the victory over death; giving the Son power to make intercession for the children of men - Having ascended into heaven, having the bowels of mercy; being filled with compassion towards the children of men; standing betwixt them and justice; having broken the bands of death, taken upon himself their iniquity and their transgressions, having redeemed them, and satisfied the demands of justice. Mosiah 15:8&9 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Christ gave us a way to remember this on His last night as a man, His communion. We reflect every Sunday by remembering the sacrifice, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He gave it all for you because He loves you. Romans 8:35-39

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb... Sleepless night. Torturous night. Arrested around midnight. Betrayed with a kiss. Tried before the chief priests and elders around 2:00am. Tried again around 5:00am then brought before Pilate around 6:00am. Denied by His disciple, Peter, abandoned by the others. Sent to Herod around 7:00am. Around 8:00am He is traded for a murderous, Barabbas. Forced to carry the cross He would be hung on at around 11:00am, after a... harsh beating no doubt. Around 2:00pm He is starting to fade. Then, around 3:00pm that day, He cries out, forsaken, and then dies. The Son of God was sent to take away the sins of mankind, past, present, and future. If you would only believe. This is the remarkable miracle of God. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ~ John 3:16&17 Up until this point, death was final. But He wasn't finished yet. Death cannot and would not keep Him down. You can read more about this day in Matthew 27:1-62, Mark 15:1-47, Luke 22:63-23:56, and John 18:28-19:37.

Passover Supper. And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.... After that he poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples‘ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. What did He do in His last hours with His beloved? He showed them how much He loved them, showed them how to remember what He was about to do. Jesus Christ loves you more than you can ever imagine. Was what happened next easy? No. Did He feel you were worth it? Absolutely. He gets no sleep this night. The next time he finds rest is when He gives up the ghost. You can read about this day in Matthew 26:1775, Mark 14:12-72, Luke 22:7-62, and John 13:1-38.

On this day, Jesus went to the temple in the morning and then went to the Mount of Olives in the evening which overlooks Jerusalem. On his way to the temple that day, he passed the withered fig tree and cursed it permanently. The priests ask "By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?" Jesus replies "I also will ask you not thing, which if yet tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, whe...nce was it? from heaven, or from men?" They went on to say that they "cannot tell." Christ's authority is from God! The Master went all morning teaching the parables which the chief priests and elders couldn't comprehend because it didn’t fit their "wisdom" or reasoning. Don't you think it's interesting that those educated and trained in the word of God completely missed the revelation of the Son of God and His authority? Jesus then went to the Mount of Olives and gives private discourse to His disciples about the signs of the times and prophecies unto them. This was also the night that Judas went to visit them back at the temple to betray Jesus . You can read about this day in Matthew 21:23-24,51, Mark 11:20-13:37, Luke 20:1-21:36, and John 12:20-38

Here's a neat activity for this week. Follow the days leading up to Easter with us. Yesterday, historically known as Palm Sunday celebrated the Triumphant entry of Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, into Jerusalem. Today would have been the day that Jesus started his evaluation of the spirit and state of Jerusalem which was supposed to be Holy.... On this day, He cursed the fig tree which failed to provide fruit, overturned the tables at the temple, and chastised the people. We have to remember that Christ came representing God on earth. He was not understanding the lack of respect for God and His holy ways. You can read about this account in Matthew 21:12-22, Mark 11:15-19, Luke 19:45-48, and John 2:13-17.
