We were able to upgrade a small office and warehouse with some new energy efficient lighting this week. We went with the Philip’s retrofit Evo kits in the office. Easy to install and a very clean modern look. We also replaced the 1000 watt and 400 watt high bay fixtures with new 200 watt LED UFO style lights that put out an enormous 38,000 lumen. By our calculations the customer will save over $2000 A MONTH in energy bills. #philipslighting #milwaukee #energysaving #lightingdesign

I think we are like most people and have been busier than ever. We finished two good size jobs simultaneously. Thanks to Jeremy Marrs for coming over and helping us out. I enjoy the dollar tree style jobs even with their 6 week schedules Final pics of other job coming soon.

This store got hit with a big power spike and it took out two of their built in surge suppressors. Swapping out the A and C phase ones went a lot easier than I thought. Total shutdown less than 30 minutes. I’m not sure how I feel about unshielded cat5 cabling in a 480v panel tho. Finally tried out Raco’s new Grandslam Stab-it box today. This 8X8 can was perfect for landing our switch legs. No MC connectors needed. We’re happy to get this one finished up this week and ready to move on to the next. I’m so proud of all of the extra help I had on this since my main guy @solomon_gainz is recouping. I was able to have him for at least one day before he took time off to be an amazing person. We were not perfect but I’m proud to say we passed all inspections the first time and everything worked perfectly when we turned on the breakers. I know it should always be that way but sometimes it just doesn’t work out like you want it to. #electricalcontractor #title24 #tenantimprovement

We had a blast at our first #neca show. The largest electrical trade show for the industry. #milwaukee of course was one of our favorite booths. There were several companies there that are really focused on making our jobs easier and safer. One company I never had my eye on until now is #ITOOLco. I will definitely be looking into their wire cart and knockout set. 1/2 all the way up to 6 with their gear punch. I also think I found my new brand of electrical tape. I have only used 3M for 20+ years but Panduits new stronghold tape beats it in comparison tests. Next year, Chicago?? We’ll see :) @ Mandalay Bay Convention Center
