New tool on irs.gov for those non-filers to register for direct deposit and get their stimulus checks faster.

So apparently the IRS wants to have people file 0 information tax returns now (meaning people who normally have no requirement to file - think folks strictly on SS benefits) and enter banking info to get their stimulus $ out to them via direct deposit instead of a check that may take 5 months.

It's not too late to cancel any scheduled tax payment made for April 15th. Take advantage of the extended deadline of July 15th to pay your taxes. #taxseason
