Buying a newly constructed home is a dream. Today's new homes are bright and spacious, they feature high ceilings and open floor plans. However, since no one has ever lived in them you can't be exactly sure of what problems exist that you may not even be noticing. ... We got our client's contract accepted on this newly built home in San Jose bordering Campbell. The home is absolutely gorgeous and well done, except for one issue, the laundry area. Having experience building homes, we understand the process and how sometimes things get overlooked. This is especially common when the architect's design and the actual construction are considering real world application. In this case, the laundry area was designed with the minimum requirements. When the builder installed the doors and the dryer vent, the end result was a space that would not accommodate a front loading washer. Discovering this before we removed contingencies allowed us to negotiate a repair by the seller, and one less headache for our client moving in. Feel free to contact me for your real estate needs.
