Today is Lions Gate, 8/8/20. We have the opportunity over the next couple of weeks to tap into this portal of high vibe frequencies that’ll catapult our visions and manifestations into our actual waking lives. Let’s illuminate our higher-minded goals and ambitions collectively so that we can see the results within our communities. Focus on your visions and set them ablaze. The energy of Sirius and it's alignment with the Sun on 8/8 can help us channel the energy to "instant...ly manifest what we want. Do a 8/8 meditation & intention-setting ritual. Try setting your phone's timer for 8 minutes and allowing yourself to clear your mind of any limiting thoughts (bonus points if you start your meditation at 8:08 a.m. or p.m.!). Focus on the unlimited potential for success that the number 8 symbolizes truly let yourself embrace Leo season energy and reach for the stars! After your 8-minute meditation, write down your biggest, loftiest goals, and list eight steps you can take right now to get the ball rolling on them. Work with crystals. Creating a crystal grid or charging your crystals with your intentions are two great ways to connect with the earth's natural power and take advantage of the high-vibe manifestation power that's granted to us within the lion's gate portal. Choose sunny-looking yellow, clear, or gold colored crystals to amplify your intention I recommend pyrite, Lemurian quartz, or citrine. Plan a personal lion's gate portal ritual. Whether you're into reading tarot cards, doing candle magic, or just want to use a guided meditation, there are lots of lion's gate portal-specific rituals that will help you connect to the day's mystical energy. A mantra mashup. Step out of the bounded moment and into the realm of timelessness. Ganesha, Shiva, and Durga chants. A thought behind a thought or action is a mantra. The minds medicine. A meditation to raise your vibration calling upon the light of the universe and the Goddesses and Gods that want to carry us there. Under their wings the portal is a clear pathway to soul, atman, discovery. May we all be blessed today with the blessings of the universal soul.

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, at 9am, TaraYoga will be at Victory Park for your Awakening Flow! Yay! Please sign up online ahead of time. 8 students max. $20-for drop in class/or membership required to join. We will maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance and will be wearing masks. There’s street parking off of Paloma and a parking lot (permit required/available). We will be meeting on the park corner side of Altadena and Paloma where there are large trees over head that create a good amount of shade. Please bring your own mat and water. The eyes reveal the soul. This eye gazing, soul revealing, community building video was inspired by Tara’s meditation group. When we stop and look into our own Self, or into the eyes of another, we become felt, vulnerable, and seen. With mask wearing we have an opportunity to see into the soul of others. The yogis talk about energy transmission and healing through the eyes. The mantra, OM gam ganapati namaha is simply about removing obstacles and new beginnings. The mantra is a preview into Tara&Andy’s upcoming Mantra Recordings.
