Week 2: 10/29-31 Thursday-Saturday. ElRuso is unique among LA northern carne asada stands. It’s a meta taco stand about LA tacos. There are Sonora flour tortillas & burritos with an exceptional carne con chile, chorredas from Mazatlán, & Tijuana-style need Birria. This weeks #taqueandotakeover features Walter Soto of El Ruso & LA institution Mariscos Jalisco for our Surf & Turf Taco Night. 2 LA greats under one roof, located at 1850 Industrial St., with a full bar including the Mariscos Jalisco off menu michelada!

We’ve been working on a virtual event to be held later in the year, but a famous Arts District space (formerly Church and State) came available for us to bring you a taste of Taqueando, so we are taking it over 10/22-11/21, with a series of guest taqueros and taqueras. Each week will feature a special guest and special menus available for takeout and for dine-in on the restaurant’s patio from 5:30PM to 11PM. Additionally, the bar will be open for dine-in and take out. We are not taking reservations but will be maintaining a wait list on a first come- first serve basis at the restaurant. If you need additional information it is best to check this website first but you can email us or call us.
