Sorry students and friends. But Facebook leaves me no choice but to quit having any interaction with a company who does the same thing the Communist China does to their people....Silence them. My phone is always available leave message I don't answer unknown callers but will return a message left. Until another platform that offers free speech comes along where we can meet again, take care and guard your liberties.
If your school or training group hasn't got back together for training yet due to the corona virus, then take it upon yourself to do your own. You can start with your most basic and improve as well as stay in shape for when you return to regular training. Staff is always a good basic weapon to do a multitude of different exercises. To stay young and healthy you must exercise or your body will start to break down. Loss of muscle tone and flexibility, loss of endurance, loss of bone density and that feeling of well being. Since everything we do is directed by the mind, I would start there.
I hope everyone is doing well these days. I don't know if it's the election that is headlining the Covid19 virus or if it's the Covid 19 virus headlining the election. When the winds of change blows, some people build walls and others build windmills.
I hope everyone is still safe, happy and peaceful. Mountains for escaping the heat and meditation is always good.

Sometimes we have to disengage with society and go into the place of Utopia. This place comes only after we have lost track of time, the environment and our body through diligent meditation.
One of my favorite meditation places, Forest Falls is hopefully spared from the fires.

What does it take to study Praying Mantis Kung-fu? The first and foremost is, the dedication.and will. Dedication, will keep you training while your friends are out doing other things. Will, the passion to push yourself like nothing else, you know, the Will to survive. That same will that propels us to go beyond even what we thought we were capable of. Then start with conditioning. The hands, wrist, forearms, biceps and shoulders. As I told my students many times, if you have to grab on to your opponent, then they should not be able to break free of that grip and if they do, you better still have that body part in your hand.
F.E.A.R. has two meanings. Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise.... The choice is yours.

Greetings Students,& Friends. I send my well wishes to you all. This is a very serious virus that doesn't discriminate. Do all and more of the recommendations of WHO and CDC. What I would add is Spring Forrest Qigong along with some Tai Chi and meditation.... Of course keep a good healthy diet of fruits and vegetables and some nuts. The whole goal is ti boost your immune system which is going to keep you safe or speed your recovery. The Spring Forest Qigong will increase lung capacity and increase white T-cells. Remember students, as we breath in all the positive energy of the Universe, through every cell of our body and collecting in the dian tian. Imagining as the energy passes through the cells, the white T-cells energize, fortify, and then multiply. It is with your meditation that gives ease to the mind to direct intentions.
Students, friends, during these difficult times its time to stay calm. Keep exercising, eating the right foods and don't allow stress to deplete your immune system. I do think the FCC should make all radio stations give public announcements every 30 minutes on the corona virus. The information would help in answering unknown questions on this subject; how long after getting the virus will you show signs. How long does the virus live on hard surfaces. Will a mask keep me from getting the virus. These and other questions would help the community to fight this pandemic. If you can't go out in your area then turn in to yourself. Meditation is a great way to relief your stress.
