One year ago exactly, we opened our second location of the Tahoe Mill in downtown Tahoe City. At the time, Tahoe was seeing more remote workers, freelancers, and startups and we helped get them out of their homes and into a collective space to get work done. How things have changed now. Today, our shared workspaces sit dark and empty. It is not a time to work side by side. We are back to working in sweat pants on our couches, alone. We hope to stay in business, we hope to offer a collective space for the future, when that future comes. Until then, good luck getting things done at home. We’re in this together, apart.

Meet new Mill member @ellie.mccutcheon, a @womenwhodrone filmer and FAA-certified drone pilot specializing in cinematography for filmmakers and journalists. She launched her own drone filming business, which she runs from Tahoe. #workfromtahoe
