Before opening Tahoe Best Friends, my sister and Bro-in-law use to rescue pitbulls. I must admit, they weren't my first choice of breed back 10 years ago. However, after caring for so many at the center, I adore them. They are kind, loving, gentle souls. It truly is how you raise a dog, not the breed. It is like raising an unruly kid, trouble may occur down the line if not raised properly. That's my $.02 of the day.
