Group I For teens with anxiety or depression. This group teaches participants to use art as a tool for coping with unwanted feelings and behaviors that are associated with anxiety or depression. In addition, the group provides a forum for teens to work on social skills, discuss problems, build trust, and enhance self-esteem. Group II For teens that have been exposed to trauma. This group is designed to help participants cope with and understand the effects of trauma o...n their feelings and behaviors. Through the use of art, participants will have the opportunity to express and share their experiences with other trauma survivors. In addition, this group will provide an environment for teens to build trust in others, discuss problems created by exposure to traumatic events, and enhance self-esteem. See more
