ALMS & Synergy would like to thank everyone who participated and supported last year's charity tournament @synergymenlopark . Because of your support, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic ALMS was able to contribute school supplies to the ‘Mission in Guyana’. The schools in Guyana are solely dependent on donations. The children work or help out at home before taking a canoe to school. Donated school supplies included 447 boxes of crayons, 79 rubix cubes, 35 sets of puzzles, and 51 activity books. MENLO PARK Update: EXCITING NEWS! San Mateo County is now allowing us to open court reservations for ALL AGES! Our new safety protocols (last 2 images) have already been implemented and are ready for players upon arrival. Reservation instructions will be sent first to our Membership and 10x Pass holders tonight 6/18/20 to prioritize reservations. Starting Monday 6/22/20, ALL will be allowed to book. Stay Tuned! FREMONT Update: Alameda County is just starting to allow outdoor... activities. Synergy Badminton Fremont falls under a later stage. These stages are set to open every 2-4 weeks but can change at any time. Online reservations will follow the same procedures as stated for Menlo Park. Reservation booking will begin immediately to guarantee your spot, but your start date will depend on County restrictions being lifted. Stay Tuned! We’ve been getting emails if Synergy plans to re-open on May 4th due to a recent article on Kron4 News listing Badminton (singles). Although badminton is on their list, it pertains to outdoor activities. May 4th, 2020 is the date for all Phase 2 businesses to be able to operate and is only for outdoor activities with social distancing restrictions. Currently, Synergy is grouped in Phase 3. We hope to re-open in June. Meanwhile, Synergy Badminton continues to stay closed to the public to comply with requirements from the local government and public health agencies. @synergymenlopark @synergybadmintonfremont

We hope everyone is enjoying the downtime with your families during the Shelter in Place. With the recent announcement from the state and local governments, gyms were mentioned among the group of businesses permitted to operate in Phase 3. That gives us hope but in what capacity is still unknown. There is no clear timeline but we will continue to monitor and update everyone with more details as soon as they are available. Once the Shelter in Place is lifted for Phase 3 busine...sses, we will still be under strict guidelines and protocols. We will not be able to operate Synergy Badminton at full capacity and will need to make occupancy adjustments, social distancing guidelines, protective gear guidelines, and facility cleanliness. At this time, we are making plans on the best possible outcome to accommodate our members and guests. Adapting new guidelines and the new normal can be challenging but we are confident together we can pull through it. If you are a member of Synergy Badminton, we will continue to freeze your membership while the gyms are temporarily closed. Synergy Badminton Academy is taking precautionary measures to keep our badminton community safe. In an effort to keep up with social distancing recommendations due to the CoronaVirus outbreak from local, state, and federal guidelines. Synergy Badminton will be closed to members and drop-in guests from March 14th starting 1:00PM to March 31st, 2020. Training and lessons will continue as usual.After or during that time period, we will reassess the situation as it evolves from ...day to day. We believe these actions are important to reduce activities in our gym that promote short social distances and to limit the overall number of participants gathering in the gym at one time. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working hard to extend any memberships that this may affect.
