Shout out to @mylaps for replacing my transponder. As you can see my tire hit the transponder a few times yet it continued to work. During this downtime I got in contact with mylaps and it was covered under their warranty and they replaced it. A huge thanks to @trackd39 for spending over 20 hours with me between Friday and Saturday getting the my engine swap harness relocated and fixing all the broken solder joints from the manufacturer that were stopping me from getting the car running. We were supposed to leave Friday for the race with @vara_racing and didn’t leave until 8pm Saturday night to at least make the Sunday race. Got another sponsor @radiumengineering parts installed fully today. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator and micro glass filter was installed a few weeks ago as I figured out how I wanted to plumb the fuel surge tank. @mfr_engineering made the box for the tank to go in to firewall off. It’s all -6an lines in and out with a walbro 450 e85 compatible pump inside the surge tank. The fst will stay 100% full until the fuel tank runs out of fuel so I should have no fuel starvatio...n at all. Another e46 M3 in for rod bearings, Vanos upgrades and rear subframe reinforcement. This 58k mike M3 was one of the only cars I’ve done that didn’t have a crack already at the rear subframe. @powerflexbushes installed for subframe, differential and trailing arm bushings. Rod bearings were replaced with wpc treated bearings and arp hardware. It looked like these bearings were done under warranty and they still had noticeable wear.
