In some areas in California, in high-risk areas, especially for fires and so on, they’ll actually cover up to one hundred percent of a rebate. According to California Public Utilities Information, there are California based programs designed to incentivize people for supporting new, existing, and distributed energy resources.... If you qualify for the SGIP program, you can receive a rebate for your energy system. There’s a percentage or rebate they’ll pay. Sometimes it’s 50%, and at other times, it’s 100%. So, even if the battery is $10,000, they’ll literally give you a rebate for $10,000. Each power company is different. Look into this when you’re looking into getting a solar battery.
