Learn a fun (free) routine for Halloween!

Here’s a classic you must know Bal-Swing move called Lollies but with a fun spin added! The spins are not lead easily unless you & your partner have good conn...ection (compression & tension) & you are both keeping your frame (elbows bent and in front of you). A very trendy thing in Balboa/Bal-Swing is to be connected through the front part of your chest which causes your elbow to be behind you. This is not our preference as it takes away important connection with the followers right side/leaders left. We connect with a slight V shape to our bodies instead of flat chest-to-chest. Leads, if you have good connection you should be able to just release it to make the follower spin versus having to throw your partner to get them to turn. Follows, seek that connection & when you feel the release continue to step through the turn & then hold when you feel connected again (with either compression or tension). As I always say, don’t assume how many times the leader will want you to spin, so keep moving until something the leader does absorbs your momentum or redirects it. This evening at 7:00pm PDT the College of Swing Era Knowledge (kind of) continues... Tonight - I will be going live tonight and looking for some honest feedback on what to do/offer in August. Despite thoroughly enjoying sharing the knowledge I have with all of you, the time vs $$$ simply does not add up at all with raising a family. I will typically put 3-5hrs of prep into these sessions to offer you the best I have, not to mention the 21 years of experience building this kn...owledge to share. There are a LOT of online resources and I'm simply feeling that I should be devoting more time to my family and other paying jobs to provide for my family. I am open to suggestions, ideas, and creating other options for everyone still interested in the College of Swing Era Knowledge concept as I feel that I still have a lot to offer to all Swing Dance communities.
