Today is Indigenous People’s Day - I live on Wappo and Pomo Territory. I hope to learn much more about their methods of cultivating this land, to preserve our resources for future generations. I tried to sign up for this awesome Wild Tending and Foraging Workshop hosted by @landpaths and led by Megan Walla-Murphy (Ecologist, TrekCoordinator, Writer and Tracker) and wild foods chef Coby Liebman but it was sold out! I also love following Elaine Chukan Brown @hawk_wakawaka who is a wine writer for Jancis Robinson. I first found her as an independent wine writer so many years ago when I started in this biz, and she was making drawings and writing about wine.
