September 24th Update: We currently have 4 active cases of COVID-19 in Modoc. Wear your mask, wash your hands, keep your distance and get tested if you have recently traveled or think you may have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.

Donna Vermillion receiving her plaque from SVHCD Board President, John Erquiaga for her 54 years! of employment for the district and on her much deserved retirement. Although we miss having her in central supply & her witty sense of humor, we thank her and wish her all the relaxation & getting do whatever you please she can handle! Happy Retirement Donna

Meet Our Staff.... Deanna Rosecrans first began her employment journey here at SVHCD June 2018 as a CNA. Deanna quickly became an integral part of the nursing department, known for her compassion, thoroughness and dedication. When the position of Activities Director/Social Services Coordinator opened, Deanna applied & deservedly got the position. She took this on wholeheartedly! She has done an extraordinary job. Deanna is also an amazing mother who would do anything for her ...children (much like our residents). When Deanna is not working, she is often found hanging out with her kiddos. They love doing anything outdoors...such as; floating on the river, hiking, swimming, fishing, visiting water falls & river rafting. When Deanna wants to slow it down, she will kick back with the kiddos and watch a movie. She has an amazing heart and puts in 100% when it comes to her job. It is a proud moment for the district to see how much Deanna has embraced her new position and the lengths she has gone to, to master the art of Activities Director. She is always willing to help even outside of her department. Her attention to detail is exemplary. See more

September 8th Update: We currently have 8 active cases of COVID-19 and have not seen a new, positive case in four days. To continue this downward trend, it is important to stay diligent with preventative measures - wash your hands, keep your distance from others and wear your mask!

Deciding to Go Out? What you need to know In general, the more closely you interact with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.... If you decide to engage in public activities, continue to protect yourself by practicing everyday preventive actions. August 20th Update: Modoc remains at 5 confirmed cases of COVID-19, which have all recovered. An important reminder: In order to continue to #stopthespread... into Modoc county, please get tested if you have recently traveled out of the area! Cases are continuing to rise in surrounding counties, so stay ahead of the game by getting tested after you travel. See more
