Surfrider and @lovebeautyandplanet invite you to take part in #SmallActs4CleanShores, a series of small actions that collectively add up to big impacts for our ocean, coasts, and each other. From now through the end of October, join us by hosting your own cleanup as we set out to protect and restore shorelines throughout the country this means beaches, riverbeds, lakeshores and creeks because all waterways ultimately lead to the ocean. Click this link https://www.surfrider.org/pages/Small-Acts-for-Clean-shores to find everything you’ll need to record and report your findings!
Trestles Saved! Governor Newsom signed my bill, #AB1426 to protect San Onofre State Beach from road construction! This marks the successful end to a 15 year fight to save this iconic surf spot and the state park. Thank you everyone who pushed to make this happen! #SaveTrestles
Whew!!! Such fantastic news that Assemblywoman Tasha Boerner- Horvath took on this bill! For 15 years, working to protect this park from road construction (it’s full of critters, surfing, camping, hiking, special habitat, plus sacred Indigenous sites...). Come on Governor Newsom bring us home by signing the legislation into law! https://a76.asmdc.org//20200826-boerner-horvaths-bill-perm
