How to duck dive better. Timing is everything. Get close to the wave but don't start too late. Press down near the front of the board near center. Sink the nose. When you are down as far as you can, stand and press your foot on the back of the board to point the nose up. Tail Slide. I added a button that lets you slide out the tail for sharper and harder turns on steep waves. Check out the video and see if you can tell the difference. I also added a button to stall too. Those are good for advanced surfing, later when you can surf better. For now I made it easier to get up on a wave. As long as you are paddling for a wave and press the get up button you will get up. You won't necessarily catch the wave, but you'll get up. Riding after that is up to you. Also, you can angle off on a wave when you take off and get more speed. There's more breaks now too....go search for them.

Here's a clip from gameplay on twitch. My best ride. He goes a little crazy with the schwack at the begging, which sets him up for a pumping tube ride which he almost makes. I'll be posting some more videos soon...I'm going to update with some changes to the surfing and wipeouts. Buttons for stalling and tailslide will be added in the next version. This will be great for advanced surfing. For beginners or people who already have played, you will be better now, since th...e long awaited takeoff anywhere on a wave, the mechanic that everyone thought was broken has been modified to do what you expect...get up when you press the button. Before you had to get in position and get speed before you could get up...like surfing...now, you push the button and get up...like a video game. No more complaints about it being broken. best way to know what I'm talking about is to play it. See more
