As I sit here sipping a cup of tea, overlooking the Red Sea at Sunrise on December 30, 2020 in Sharm el Sheikh Egypt contemplating life I felt the urge to write a blog. 2020 is one of those years that will be remembered forever, life for so many has changed and I want to believe in the end it will be for the better. I think that this year awakened many people in hopefully positive ways. Being forced to stay at home with the family for some was very rare and brought them toget...her and to realize its all about family. People will learn that working from home is possible, the many benefits that come from that are perhaps you really don't need a car, that alone will save money, reduce pollution and make life a little easier. Restaurants and public places are cleaner, there are free hand sanitizers everywhere. I've been traveling now for 270 days creating videos on YouTube of national parks, zoos, museums, fantastic interviews and there were no crowds making the videos better and hopefully bringing knowledge and entertainment for those sequestered, quarantined and forced to stay at home. We got through the Black Plague where 200 million souls died, the Spanish Flu where another 75 million perished and so we will get through Covid19. I hope we learn a lot about ourselves from this time in history as we were given the time and circumstance to reflect on life. I hope greed will somehow be reduced as that is in my opinion what caused the pandemic. I hope my message of kindness spreads throughout the land, Be kind to yourself, Be kind to others, He kind to the environment and in order to help make the world a kinder more civil place use the word Fantastic instead of the word good. Fantastic spreads energy, positivity, kindness and love. Say it with conviction and emotion and watch the magic. It works! Merry Christmas

My newest blog. In December 2018 I bought a Santa Outfit and played Santa for my Grandchildren. My granddaughter Carly sarcastically and correctly stated "Santa doesn't have a short beard" and so from that day until xmas 2019 I grew my beard out. Without a Santa outfit I looked like a unshaven bum and took a lot of abuse but I was determined to be the best Santa the next year. One of the agreements in Juan Carlos Ruiz's best selling novel 'The four agreements' is always do y...ou best. I live by that and in December of 2019 I had a long beard and many people wanted me to play Santa for their events and a agency even signed me up. Of my 99 professions I have worked in being Santa was the most rewarding, not financially but emotionally. Children looked at me with such love, awe and excitement I recommend everyone play Santa at least once. When my accountant saw my Santa picture he immediately suggested I write another book and call it How to ge a good Santa. My first book is called Lester's Legacy and is based on my life. Well he used that four letter word I don't like (good) and I am now writing the book entitled 'How to be a Fantastic Santa Claus' but Santa Claus is x'd out and Person is put over it. How to be a Fantastic person is the book. There are four Commitments to being a Fantastic person. 1. Be kind to yourself, you come first, love who you are, accept yourself and don't beat yourself up with any negativity. 2. Be kind to others. Open doors for strangers, let people into traffic, don't argue or fight, say please and thank you, help others. 3. Be kind to our environment. Don't litter or pollute, use less plastic and try to protect our planet. 4. Replace the useless, overused, boring non energy word good with the kind, energetic and passionate word Fantastic. You will feel better, look better, live longer, be more successful in business and in relationships and help make the world a kinder more civil place. Santa is in all of us and represents kindness. Hope you enjoy my blog from this morning: I have created many things in my life and the rule of thumb I use is everyone must win. I created a non profit for Veterans 10 years ago called Supporting our Servicemen (www.ilovesos.org). It helps and thanks our Veterans. It's FREE to everyone. Companies sign up on the website and offer their products and services to Veterans at a discount to thank them for their service to their country. Veterans put their zip code into the search... box where they are or where they are going and those companies are shown, where to shop, dine or stay at a discount. Everyone wins, the company gets more business and they earn customer loyalty from Veterans and non Veterans, the Veteran wins as they get well deserved thanks for their service and the country wins because it spreads patriotism. I started a post prodyction company, GM Studios, everyone won, my clients received Fantastic post production services, their customers were entertained, I employed many people and I made money, everybody won. Now with what I believe is my greatest creation, The Be Fantastic Movement everyone in the world will win. By joining and following the credo of the movement you will feel better, you will look better, you will live longer, you will be more successful in business and in personal relationships, you will be making others happy and this will make the world a kinder more civil place for everyone. Everyone wins. When you create something try to make sure everyone wins, too many people are greedy and selfish. It is also important to remember YOU always come first, this is not a selfish trait, if you don't love yourself you can't expect others too, this does not mean others aren't important as they certainly are but by coming first you help others. A great analogy I say to explain this is when the oxygen mask drops in an airplane instructions are ALWAYS to put it on first then help others with theirs. You come first. If you would like to be part in a movement that in a couple of generations can make our world a better place follow this credo: Be kind to yourself, be kind to others, be kind to the environment and try to delete the word good and replace it with Fantastic. Saying Fantastic is literally an act of kindness where everyone wins. The smile is what occurs when this word is spoken or heard, a smile reduces stress and as a result you live LONGER! The Be Fantastic movement has over 800 Ambassadors of Positivity spread over 45 countries, we have thousands of subscribers to our social media channels but we need millions. A journey of a thousand miles begins but with a single step as the saying goes and many are on this Fantasticjourney.
