Glendale Memorial Hospital has not let the COVID-19 pandemic lessen their holiday spirit. Nearly 500 books, donated by hospital employees, were delivered to Cerritos Elementary today. Thanks to SANTA and his helpers Glendale Memorial Hospital President, Jill Welton, Glendale Police Chief Carl Povilaitis, and Glendale Fire Chief Silvio Lanzas each student grades pre-K through 6th grade will receive a new book. Each year, Glendale Memorial Hospital proudly partners with the Glendale Police Department (GPD) for the Pink Patch Project. Every October, in recognition of Br...east Cancer Awareness Month, GPD vehicles are colored pink and adorned with the pink ribbon, while officers wear a pink patch on their uniforms. This year, hospital leaders gathered with officers in front of the hospital to raise awareness around the importance of mammograms, health screenings, and community education. See more

Glendale Memorial Hospital is saddened by the devastation and growing crisis in Armenia. Our mission to help our community includes moments like these that have an impact from around the globe. The hospital, staff, and physicians took immediate action to review our medical supply inventory and shipped a large donation of much-needed items to Armenia to help care for the injured.
