Attention pool owners!! The BIG storm is coming! Too much water in your pool will not damage it, but, If your pool overflows, which there is a good chance of this happening, it might cause flooding to your house, if your house is lower or same elevation as your pool.Some pools have a water spicket on your plumbing, to hook up a garden hose and it will drain when your pump is turned on. If you have a D/E Filter, you can use the backwash valve to lower your water level, if you ...do not have either, you need to use a sump pump and put it in the pool and plug it in. These can be purchased at Lowes, Home Depot, Orchard ect., they cost around $80.00. I drained my pool yesterday to half way up the pool tile, and will have to drain it during the storm.GOOD LUCK!!!!
