Checks from the power company are nice (really nice). But spending the 1500 kWh's of surplus solar power we fed back to the grid on feeding a plug-in hybrid is the Holy Grail of renewable energy. Hopefully sometime in 2013?

I love this job! Our clients become our friends (even our team members, i.e.,Sabine and Jeff) and send us copies of their power bills, referrals to new clients and now this....Tom Bullen wearing Sun's Free Solar Schwag in France.

My good friend, surf buddy, solar client and pro bono therapist (not formally trained), Matt Hardcastle showing off his 100% reusable lunch containers. He really wanted me to see this and I just had to take a picture and post. Good on ya mate!

Thank you to the awesome kids at Nea! The school raised over $25,000 with this fundraiser and we were honored to be a part of it.

The local utility (AMP) pays $.063 (6 cents) a kWh for surplus solar generation. PG&E and the other big utilities hate this, "NET METERING", and have massive campaigns to keep people from going solar and feeding the grid. This is not misinformation, this is a check. You can get one as well :-)

Alameda Municipal Power will PAY YOU to put in more efficient light bulbs. This is amazing. I don't know how long it will last.....

This is Kevin Good, CEO of Sun's Free Solar. I usually stay away from political hot potatoes on our Official Sun's Free FB page as our employees count on sales to feed their families. This time its different. The LGBT community is HUGELY supportive of solar power, so I respectfully say to all those that can't see now is the time for equality, "If you have a problem with this post, please find another solar contractor". If you want to "share" this on your FB page, please d...o. Thank you!
