it's Wednesday and we have Chile Verde this week. Available as a plate with rice, beans & tortillas or as a burrito (wet or dry). If you haven't tried Silvia's Chili Verde yet, then now is the time.

We will be closed for Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the Labor Day Weekend. We wish everyone to have a safe and fun holiday weekend. Next week we will be featuring Silvia's Chile Verde, the new ham torta, and a new to be release burrito.

It's Taco & Torta Tuesday and we have both on special today. Try of our new Ham Torta that comes with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado and jalopenos served in a Mexican Telera bread. This is the original Mexican torta. We also have Silvia's fresh home-made chicken noodle soup today, available both as a bowl ($5.50) or bowl and 1/2 sandwich (turkey swiss, ham gouda, BLT, or turkey BLT) ($7.95)

Today we have Silvia's home-made Chicken Mole served with rice and tortillas for just $8.75. It's not too spicy and not too sweet, but full of flavor. Add some Mole' to your day!

This coming Saturday (7/13) we will be featuring our Tacos de Canasta again. These are steamed tacos that come with one of the following: Shredded Beef marinated in chili colorado sauce Chorizo & Potatos Beans & Cheese

We want to let everyone know that we closed temporarily this week to take advantage of a opportunity to spend a much needed week on the beach. We realize this was not planned or communicated very well, but want to assure everyone that we will reopen on Monday, July 8th for normal business. We hope everyone had a safe 4th of July weekend.

Today's lunch special will be Silvia's homemade Chicken Mole. This is using a special family mole recipe that Silvia has from her Grandmother. Not too sweet and not too spicy. Will post photos as soon as it's ready (10:30am).

Today we are featuring the Tacos de Canasta again. These are steamed tacos made in the traditional Mexican manner. They are available in shredded beef in chili colorado, chorizo & potatoes, and beans and cheese. We also have Waffles today with strawberries, bananas and whip cream or with just butter and syrup if you like. We hope to see at the Sunflower Bakery & Cafe. We serve breakfast all day.

Build your breakfast burritos how you like from the following choices: eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, cheese, potato, and/or refried beans. Pick a red or green salsa for inside or inside. Price is $4.85 for 1 meat choice. Add $.50 for additional meat....
