ASSOCIATION OF THE YEAR 2019 (EXTRA LARGE) This association participates in a multitude of CAI events including sending community representatives to Sacramento and Washington, D.C. to participate in the Legislative Day at the Capitol and Advocacy Forum, respectively. In 2019 the Association hosted a variety of events including an Easter Egg Hunt, five (5) movie nights, three (3) concerts, a Summertime Festival with over 2,500 attendees and a Snow Day event where the community park was covered in snow. The crowning achievement of 2019 was their first annual 5k Run/Walk fundraiser. The Association selected Carol’s Kitchen as the organization to support with the proceeds raised and donated in excess of $4,600. This Association has extended their arms and reached out to help its surrounding cities epitomizing what it means to be a COMMUNITY.
Congratulations to Director and CFO Andy Green who won the Association Volunteer of the Year during the December 2019 TOPS Award As a homeowner leader he has been serving his community since 2016 and has been a tremendous asset to the community in the role of Chief Financial Officer, lending his wealth of experience in the field of municipal governmental accounting. In the time he has served on the Board, while working closely with the community manager, the community events... budget has increased from $60,000 to $250,000, with no change in monthly member assessments. In addition, this nominee has attended multiple CAI-GRIE educational events, completing the Board Essentials course and the Advance Essentials. He has made the trip to Sacramento for Legislative Day at the Capitol every April for the last 3 years and attends the Legal Forum. In 2019 he took it upon himself to do a 5-year financial forecast for the community while continuing to work as a private consultant and helping his previous self-managed community. By taking the initiative to look into the financials with great detail he was able to make recommendations that will ultimately save money, allow the community to continue its robust events calendar intact and avoid any special assessments in the foreseeable future. For his service as a volunteer and for going above and beyond to selflessly serve his neighbors and community....We continue to thank Director Green for his volunteer service. See more

I came across this strange article on the use of White, Distilled Vinegar today. Beaumont, as you know, has very hard water. Sometimes you have a ring "mark" from the water line. I am wondering if this will help remove the line. I will keep you posted. http://sfglobe.com//the-effects-of-using-vinegar-in-your/
