Summer Art Academy-Valley Village

First day of Art Camp After-School art classes with @valleyartcamp @agouraartcamp ! We did a rainbow mermaid, Superman, baby Yoda, lego pineapple, lego watermelon, and Hawkeye. We had a blast!

Omg guys!! I can’t believe we’ve been running art camp from home for 17 weeks!! @agouraartcamp @valleyartcamp did 8 FREE weeks of camp for the kids when the pandemic started and then we launched our 9 weeks of virtual camp and it’s honestly been so amazing! I started a canvas painting class this week, and I love what the kids have been doing! We sent them their canvas kits with canvases, paint brushes, palettes, cups, pencils, eraser, paper, etc! Honestly @ashley_falsnes we killed it! Last day for art camp from home is tomorrow! I’m going to miss the kids, but stay tuned because we’re branching out for more Art Camp throughout the year! Thank you @magicapplestore for all your support and dedication through this all!

It truly makes me so happy seeing kids creating and shining during this time! I’m glad we’re able to still give them that platform even virtually through Art Camp! Love what we do and create! The second piece our camper Jayleen told her mom it’s one of her masterpieces!! She mounted her art on orange tag board and put it in a clear bag to protect her work! YES!!
